1cupfrozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
3/4cupcoconut milk (full-fat for creamier, light for fewer calories)
1/2cupcoconut water or cold water (adds hydration and thins the texture)
1smallripe banana (fresh or frozen, for sweetness and body)
1tablespoonunsweetened shredded coconut (optional, for extra coconut flavor)
1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract (optional, rounds out the flavor)
Small pinch of salt (optional, enhances sweetness)
Ice cubes (optional, for extra chill and thickness if using fresh berries)
Instructions
Add liquids first. Pour the coconut milk and coconut water into your blender.
This helps the blades catch and blend smoothly.
Add fruit and extras. Add the frozen berries, banana, shredded coconut, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
Sweeten to taste. Add honey or maple syrup only if your berries aren’t very sweet. Start small—you can always add more.
Blend until smooth. Begin on low to break up the frozen fruit, then increase to high for 30–45 seconds. If it’s too thick, add a splash of water; if it’s too thin, add a few ice cubes or more frozen berries.
Taste and adjust. Check sweetness and texture.
Add another drizzle of sweetener or a bit more coconut milk if needed.
Serve right away. Pour into a chilled glass. Sprinkle a little shredded coconut or a few extra berries on top if you like.
